Use your scrapbook paper scraps to make a pretty present bow:
1.Cut long strips (You can experiment with thin or fat strips or put both together!)
2. Curl with scissors the same way you would poly ribbon or curl by wrapping paper around a pencil
3. Tape together and arrange

Come see me at The Grove Craft Fair this Saturday, April 25 from 9 am to 12 noon. (Address: 20105 S Gilbert Road Chandler, AZ 85286) There will be approximately 50 vendors selling everything from clothing to baked goods and free activities for kids (including a bounce!) I've been promised a rare, shady spot in the courtyard so I should be easy to find.
Here's a taste of some of the goodies you'll find at my table: framed cut paper art works by yours truly, my sister Heidi's beautifully sewn tote bags and my sister Brooke's adorable hair accessories.
Hope to see you there!

Getting out the Easter decorations I found these buddies made for me by mom when I was a kid: original beanie baby felt bear, polka dot bunny (she was waiting for me on the swing set Easter morning) and a rosy cheeked baby doll...

I am seriously impressed by your work. how long have you been cutting paper? I have only been at it for a year and a half, actually, and am self taught. Your olive cuts are spectacular detail for parties. LOVE it. You make me WANT to step outside the little box in my brain and do something different. Now if I can just find the time. :-) How in the world do you get your people so perfect? and where in the world do the brainstorm ideas come from? sigh... just so fun!
(10.19.09 @ 02:51 PM)Thanks Celita! I started doing cuts about a year ago because I don't scrapbook but I love the cool paper that's available. Ideas have never been my problem...it's finding the time to make them real that's the hardest part!
